MIM process
Feedstock, the basic material for MIM process, is an unique compound of fine spherical metal powders with high polymer binders.
The feedstock is injection molded at high pressure and temperature, and the molding is then processed in debinding oven to remove the binders either by heat or catalyst. The debound part is put through sintering oven where the remaining binders are removed and the powder particles fuse together to form near theoretical density and near net shape.
