Foundry Shell Moulding

This foundry technique makes use of a special moulding device made up of two half sand and thermosetting resin shells on metal pattern heated at about 250°C.

Shell moulding is suitable for average small and medium sized castings with limited weights, but with sizes greater than those produced using investment casting tecnique.

The materials used by Metal Goods Srl are: all types of stainless steel, Nihard cast irons, super alloys with dimensions from 100 to 400mm and weights from 100 gr. to 10 kg.
